Description

Logs have an average height of 20-25m and a diameter of 0.6-0.9(-1.2m). Branch-free logs are about 10m high.
Freshly sawn, wenge has a light yellow-brown color. Exposed to light, the wood quickly turns dark brown.

Due to the coarse grain and ingredients, the surface finish often causes problems. With a clear finish, the use of pore filler is recommended.

It is the perfect wood for furniture and paneling (both in solid wood and veneered panels), stair treads, banisters, parquet and strip flooring, window frames, windows and doors (sliced on quarter stiles and sills).
